Uk Wushu Open

Ms-L conceived and ran this event from the outset in 2006. The Uk Wushu open or the The London Wushu open (as it is more commonly known) is the UK’s premier Wushu competition. Having contacted the organisers of the World famous SENI competition in London regarding exhibitions by Chinese martial arts masters it did not sit right with us that the historic founders of martial arts (as they are understood in the west) weren’t directly or explicitly represented in the UK’s premier combat sports event.

We therefore proposed and organised the London wushu open as a means of showcasing and promoting the UK and worldwide wushu community.

The London Wushu Open contributes more diversity and democracy to the UK Wushu world, benefiting UK Chinese martial arts society. Taking place at the fantastic Olympic venue, London Excel, Seni bianually (contingent on SENI) is an informative, interactive, educational and inspirational expo.
